The steps for MacOs users to install ESET are as follows:

1. After downloading the installation file from ESET Home, click the installation file to install it.
Taking ESET Cybersecurity Pro as an example, the default file name is eset_cybersecurity_pro_zh_tw.dmg

2. Click "Install ESET Cyber ​​Security Pro" to start the installation

3. Click "Allow"

4. Click "Continue"

5. Click "Agree"

6. Select "Typical (recommended)" and click "Continue"

7. Select "Enable ESET LiveGrid Comment System (recommended)" and click "Continue"

8. Select "Enable detection of potentially unwanted applications" and click "Continue"

9. Click "Install"

10. Enter your MacOS system password and click "Install Software"

11. The installation file will be installed.

12. After the installation is completed, the system will prompt the following, please click "Open Security Preferences"

13. Under "Privacy", please click "Click the lock to make changes" below.

14. Select "Full Disk Access" on the left, and check "ESET Device Control", "ESET Cyber ​​Security Pro" and "ESET Real-time System Protection" on the right

15. Select "Files and Folders" on the left and check whether "ESET Device Control", "ESET Cyber ​​Security Pro" and "ESET Real-time System Protection" on the right have been added.

16. On the "General" page, click "Details..." at the bottom, then check all "ESET Cyber ​​Security Pro" and click "OK". The new version of MacOS does not have the "Details..." item, so you can skip this setting.

17. After completing the above settings, please restart the computer. Then open ESET Cybersecurity Pro.
Click "Home" on the left and "Start Product" on the right.

18. Enter the authorization key (can be found on the card in the paper tray) and click "Start".
